A Commitment to Clarity, Care, and Confidence
At ProsperPlan Wealth, I lead a close-knit team that provides thoughtful, tax-aware financial planning designed to organize, protect, and steward wealth over time. Together, we help clients make clear, informed decisions while building financial structures that support both their lives today and the goals they’re planning for ahead.
Working with our team should feel grounding and calm. As a fee-only, fiduciary firm, our advice is conflict-free, in your best interest, and designed to bring clarity helping ease the stress around financial decisions. We integrate investment management, tax strategy, estate planning coordination, and risk management into one cohesive plan that supports your life as a whole.
Many of the families we advise come to us during pivotal moments like retirement, business transitions, or generational planning. These are times when clarity, discretion, and experienced judgment matter most. Our role is to simplify complexity, provide perspective, and offer steady guidance through decisions that carry long-term impact.
At its core, our purpose is to bring clarity, continuity, and confidence to our clients’ financial lives. We want our clients to know that what they’ve built is intentional, protected, and positioned to support them and their families for years to come.
My goal is for clients to leave our conversations feeling calmer, clearer, and confident that they are no longer navigating these decisions alone.
“Past success is often the strongest indicator of future success. My clients have already proven that they can save well. What they want now is confidence that everything they’ve built will carry them into a comfortable retirement.”
Life Outside of Work
Outside the office, my life is centered on my family
I am a wife and a mother, roles that ground me and give me daily purpose. My husband, Ian, and I spend our time with our daughters, Stella and Lily, enjoying the simple moments of family life. Family dinners, long walks along the American River, and quiet time at home are gentle reminders that prosperity is defined as much by connection as it is by financial security.
Travel has also been an important part of our life together. Exploring new places has reinforced a belief I bring into my work: that perspective changes everything, and growth often comes from stepping outside what feels familiar.
I’m naturally curious and drawn to learning. I spend time writing, watching educational content, and studying what motivates people and how financial well-being is closely tied to emotional well-being.
What inspired you to become a financial advisor?
I always thought I’d become a teacher or a nurse. I was drawn to helping people, guiding them, and being there during important moments in their lives.
But life created another path where I could care for people in a different, but equally meaningful way.
Early in my career, I took what I thought would be a temporary role with a financial advisor. Instead, it opened a door I didn’t even know I was looking for. I saw how the right financial guidance could change everything, from relieving stress to creating freedom and opportunity. I knew then that this was where I belonged.
That was over twenty years ago.
I found my purpose in combining what I love most, teaching, caring, and supporting others, with thoughtful financial planning. Since then, I’ve devoted my career to helping people navigate major life transitions, make confident decisions, and build lasting wealth so they can create lives filled with clarity, stability, and meaning.
What do you enjoy most about working with your clients?
I love the relationships I’ve built with my clients. Many of them I’ve walked beside through their entire retirement journey and beyond. Over the years, we’ve developed a deep sense of trust, respect, and genuine care for one another – the kind of bond that only comes from long-term partnership and shared purpose.
How would you describe your approach to financial planning?
There’s both an art and a science to financial planning. The science is in the numbers – the tax strategies, investments, and structure. The art is understanding people. It starts with learning what brought a client to seek help and what they truly want their money to do. Once you understand their goals, values, and worries, you can create a plan that fits their life – not just their finances.
What’s one piece of financial advice you find yourself giving most often?
The advice I share most often is simple: focus on what you can control, how you save, how you spend, your taxes, and your time horizon. Try not to get pulled into everything you can’t.
Markets will always move. Headlines will always be loud.
Real financial freedom comes from steady, thoughtful decisions made over time. Not from chasing trends. And definitely not from living in fear.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
Outside of work, I love bringing ideas to life. I enjoy dreaming up spaces, redesigning rooms, and turning creative concepts into environments that feel warm, functional, and meaningful. I spend a lot of time visualizing what’s possible, whether it’s at home, in the office, or in life.
I also love playing with cameras, experimenting with lenses, focal length, and visual separation. There’s something powerful about capturing a moment or telling a story through perspective.
Most of all, I value time with my family and creating a life that feels balanced, present, and intentional. For me, real wealth shows up in everyday moments, meaningful connections, and the freedom to slow down and enjoy what we’ve built together.
How do you help clients feel confident about their financial future?
I help people see what’s possible.
Most clients come to me with a mix of questions, goals, and loose financial pieces that don’t quite fit together yet. My job is to bring clarity to all of it. We organize your finances, align your investments with your life, and build a clear path forward so you’re not just reacting, you’re moving with purpose.
Confidence grows when you can actually see your future. When you understand how your money supports your goals, your family, and the life you’re building.
I walk alongside my clients through every season. We plan. We adjust. We make thoughtful decisions together. And over time, what once felt overwhelming becomes simple, steady, and intentional.
My goal is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a real sense of possibility, knowing your financial life is being cared for with purpose and heart.
